JPIAMR seeks research projects using innovative design to disrupt drug resistance

JPIAMR launches its 14th call. CHF 600,000 has been budgeted for Swiss project partners.

The focus of this call for the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) is on already licensed antimicrobial agents (antibiotics/antifungals) or agents under pre-clinical and/or early clinical development. Research is sought to improve the efficacy, specificity, delivery, combination and/or repurposing of drugs and plant protection agents to treat bacterial or fungal infections in One Health settings.

The submission deadline for pre-proposals is 8 March 2022 (2 pm CET).

The 14th JPIAMR call was launched on 11 January 2022 with 17 participating countries. The project teams should comprise three to six partners from different countries. SNSF has set aside 600,000 CHF for the Swiss partners in these teams.

Applicants from Switzerland must be eligible for the SNSF's project funding scheme. Along with the JPIAMR application, you need to submit an administrative application to the SNSF via mySNF (under Partnerships/JPIAMR).

A live webinar will be organised on the 25th of January 2022 at 16.00 CET. This webinar will present the call and the partner search tool. Representatives from funders participating in the call will answer questions live.
