Another five JPIAMR projects within NRP 72
NRP 72 is taking part in another five cross-border research projects. The projects focus on prevention and intervention studies in human and veterinary medicine. The aim is to optimise the way we use antibiotics.
NRP 72 is funding the Swiss sub-projects of five international research projects. They are coordinated under the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR), in which 26 countries are currently taking part. The approved Swiss sub-projects meet the aims of NRP 72, particularly those of module 3. A more careful use of antibiotics in human and veterinary medicine is of vital importance if known antibiotics are to remain effective.
